Hi guys! Hope you had a safe and wonderful Easter break. ^_^ I know I haven't posted in more than a week - *highly* unusual for me. /:-\ I decided to take a little breather with other things going on in life as they do (relentlessly!). However...I'm back! Have LOTS to catch up on here on my blog! Especially, since there's just been a lot of gorgeous make up products released recently that I'm keen to share with you all. So please stay tuned if you're interested. :)

Swatches
As usual, they're very pricey for a 'drug-store/high-street/pharmacy' brand retailing at AU$21.95 here in Australia.
Availability
So far, I've seen these at Priceline and David Jones. However, Myer, Target, KMart, and Big W will probably have these as well as I know they have a Revlon counter.
Overall
I'm pretty pleased with this lip-balm/lipstick range for the price you pay for them (relative to higher-end brands). They give pretty good pigmentation and lip coverage for the type of lipstick and there's a huge colour range to choose from (good luck! ;-) ). However, while I do like the way they feel buttery/creamy smooth (but still melds well with the lips without being overly slippery) and moisturising on the lips initially, after a while they do tend to dry out my lips a bit, so that's a little disappointing, but not as disappointed as I'd be if it were coming from a higher-end brand where you'd expect much more. Still...fun shades to wear. :)
Gift with Purchase
I was surprised when I got this as a gift with purchase at Priceline. The gift is a make up brush set with case. I'm not sure if this offer is still available, but I got mine about a week ago by spending at least AU$39.95. I also noticed that David Jones had a similar offer, but the gift is comprised of make up items and a nail polish I believe. I personally, would have preferred the latter, but I'd already made the purchase. Just depends what you need/like!

Hope this was helpful!
Thanks for reading! xo ^_^
A week or so ago, the much hyped product Revlon Colorburst Lip Butters finally arrived in Australia. So, I just had to try them for myself. After swatching all the *many* colours available at the store and looking like I had some sort of weird skin disease, I took away three that took my fancy:
- Berry Smoothie (050): mauve to plummy pink. Slightly sheerer than the other two here. I've been enjoying wearing this most particularly for work. I have quite a blue-toned pigmentation on my lips so this shade is quite suitable, and particularly apt for the current Australian autumn season.
- Sweet Tart (090): very pretty, bright pink - slightly yellow-toned. I'd imagine this would very flattering on those with paler skin tones. I thought this was the prettiest when swatched, but didn't think it translated as well on my pigmented lips and darker skin tone.
- Lollipop (075): fuschia pink. This shows up much nicer on my olive tanned skin tone. Quite a flattering and bright shade, but still very wearable for day.
